Governor Josh Shapiro Visits University City Science Center
In my new role at Vertex Health, I wear many different hats. One of my favorites is serving as a board member for the University City Science Center in Philadelphia. Recently, I had the honor of joining Tiffany Wilson to take part in a tour of the Science Center by Office of Governor Josh Shapiro, who got to see all of the amazing work happening there firsthand. It was also great to have the opportunity to speak with Governor Shapiro about some of the challenges in scaling healthtech companies and implementing technology into healthcare delivery. Glad to see Governor Shapiro and the PA state government showing interest in this important work.
